Meet Adrian Riley
Adrian Riley brings more than two decades of proven leadership, service, and community impact to the people of Elkhart.
Throughout his career, Adrian has worked at the intersection of public safety, youth development, and community engagement—dedicating his life to strengthening families, mentoring young people, and building meaningful trust between law enforcement and the community. From his early work in the juvenile justice system to his leadership in public safety and nonprofit organizations, his focus has remained consistent: helping people rise and ensuring no one feels overlooked or unheard.
Adrian has served the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office in multiple instructional and leadership roles, equipping officers with the tools needed to lead with professionalism, awareness, and accountability. Today, as a trainer and community liaison with the Elkhart Police Department, he continues that mission teaching communication, mentoring young adults, and helping bridge the gap between officers and the residents they serve. His approach is grounded in clarity, respect, and a deep belief in human potential.
His commitment to Elkhart extends well beyond his professional roles. As Vice President of the Ray of Hope Foundation and a trusted board member for organizations including Bashor Children’s Home, Big Brothers Big Sisters, CAPS, and Faith Mission, Adrian has played an active role in shaping initiatives that support youth, stabilize families, and strengthen the community at every level.
Adrian Riley’s leadership is rooted in faith, guided by purpose, and defined by action. He understands that strong communities are built through connection, opportunity, and trust.
Now, he is running for mayor to bring that same level of leadership to the entire city focused on creating a safer, stronger, and more unified Elkhart.
